Development of Different Yarn Structures from Hemp Fiber for Sustainable Textiles
In this project, studies have been carried out to investigate the usage possibilities of industrial hemp fiber, which is produced with less natural resource consumption compared to cotton and can be an alternative to cotton fiber consumption, which is again on the agenda in the world and in Turkey, and to measure its usability in the textile sector. Within the scope of the project, research on natural hemp fibers, research on the spinning possibilities of these fibers in OE (Open-end) - Ring spinning systems and yarn development studies were carried out.
