Kipaş Holding founded in 1984 under the leadership of ÖKSÜZ and GÜMÜŞER families is the first and only holding of Kahramanmaraş. Practises in the 6 main sectors. As the highest tax payer of Kahramanmaraş and exporting approximately 200 million dollars worth of goods to nearly 100 countries and is one of the most top 100 exporter companies in Turkey; Kipaş is listed in the ISO 500 with the 6 of its companies. Kipaş Holding, which attaches great importance to R&D studies, is among the first 250 companies in this field.
KİPAŞ TEXTILES
All facilities of Kipaş Textiles, which has an annual production capacity of 80 million meters of fabric and 500 tons of yarn per day, and approximately 7,000 employees, are located in Kahramanmaraş. In Kipaş Textiles, which is ranking in the top 100 in Kahramanmaraş in the ISO 500 list and Turkey's and Europe's largest integrated company engaged in textile production; in addition to Weaving, Open-End and Ring yarn production there are Fabric Dyeing-Finishing and Denim fabric production processes are carried out. Kipaş Tekstil, which has recently been on the world agenda with its Technical Textile and R&D studies, also made a name for itself with its washable, multi-use, contamination-reducing mask production during the pandemic period. In addition, Kipaş Textiles made a name for itself in the fashion world with the creations produced from recycled plastic bottles in partnership with Boyner. Kipas Holding has made a big leap in 2010 and acquired merchandising, marketing, and manufacturing rights for Turkey from Europe's oldest denim brand Lee Cooper, which was born at Middlesex Street in East London in 1908.
KİPAŞ CEMENT
KÇS (Kahramanmaraş Cement Industry) has an annual production capacity of 3,200,000 tons of clinker and 4,000,000 tons of cement, as well as 15 concrete plants operating in 7 cities with a total capacity of 33,000 m³/day, 2 aggregate quarries in Kahramanmaraş, Kahramanmaraş Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Facility with an annual capacity of 450,000 m³ and Aydın / Söke Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Facility with an annual capacity of 700,000 m³. Around 1,000 people are employed within these facilities. Owing to its rich and productive limestone quarries and clay pits, our subsidiary produces CEM I, CEM III, and CEM IV type cements in accordance with Turkish (TS), European (EN) and American (ASTM) Standards.
KİPAŞ PAPER
Kipaş Paper Mills, another Kipaş Holding company with around 1,000 employees, produces 425,000 tons of paper annually from 100% recycled waste paper, preventing the destruction of 6,000 hectares of forest and adds value to the economy. Our production facility is built on an area of 330,000 m2, 100,000 m2 of which is an indoor space. The paper types produced are Testliner and Fluting, with a grammage of 70-200 gr/m2. Apart from the new investment, which has become Turkey's and Europe's largest paper production facility and came into operation in Aydın-Söke in late 2020, there is a packaging factory in Bilecik-Bozüyük.
KİPAŞ HOLDING ENERGY INVESTMENTS
Kipaş Holding is in a position to make a name for itself with its energy investments. Kipaş Holding, which carries out geothermal well drilling and electricity generation activities through Karen Kahramanmaraş Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., KÇS Aydın Branch, Kiper Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Maren Maraş Elektrik Üretim Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. that are located in the cities of Aydın and İzmir, provide great support to Turkey's energy needs. Kipaş Holding employs around 400 people in total and produces around 1,600 GWh of energy per year through the Balkusan Dam in Konya, which is owned by Karen Kahramanmaraş Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., as well as a total of 10 geothermal power plants, with seven in Maren in Aydın-Germencik, two in KÇS Aydın Branch and one in Kiper.
KİPAŞ EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Kipaş Holding provides education from kindergarten to high school through not-for-profit institutions in Kahramanmaraş. Facilities with a closed area of 23,000 square meters on an area of 32,000 square meters have been designed for the institution that aims to provide high level education with scholarship opportunities for successful students particularly in Kahramanmaraş. In this formation, all elements have been planned to keep up with the pace and requirements of modern education. The campus, in which a total of 2,800 people can live together, includes a 75-person-capacity kindergarten, 750-person-capacity primary school, 960-person-capacity secondary school, and 1008-person-capacity high school.
KİPAŞ AVIATION AND LOGISTICS
The subsidiary company provides an impeccable 24/7 transportation service to its customers and meets all the logistics services of Kipaş Holding companies with its Cessna Citation XLS+ aircraft for domestic and international commercial charters and 40 trailers for transportation.
SOCIAL PROJECTS
Kipaş Holding implements several social projects in Turkey and particularly in Kahramanmaraş. The company donated Nezihe Öksüz Anatolian Health Vocational High School, which is the largest medical vocational high school in the region with 560 students and 20 branches in 4 departments, as well as Narli Kipaş High School, Kipaş Kindergarten, Hanefi Öksüz Science Laboratory in Kahramanmaraş Primary School, Habibe Gümüşer Kindergarten, Ökkeş Gümüşer Primary School, Reşit Gümüşer Primary School, Ayşe Gümüşer Primary School, and Mehmet Gümüşer Anatolian High School to the Ministry of National Education. In the field of health, the company has put Hanefi Öksüz Cardiology Hospital and Hüsnü Öksüz Dialysis Center as well as Kipaş Holding Condolence House in Kahramanmaraş-Pazarcık and Kipaş Kağıt Condolence House in Kilili Town at the disposal of its fellow citizens.
