Separation of Dyestuffs in Indigo Dyed Waters from Denim Mills and Development of Reuse Possibilities of Decolorized Waters

In this study, it was aimed to separate the dyestuffs in the indigo dyed water discharged to the treatment system and to reuse the decolorized water. In this context, it is aimed to separate the indigo dyed water from the dyestuff by precipitating the indigo dyed water with auxiliary chemicals in the settling pond established outside the plant, and to reuse the decolorized water by passing it through the designed column system and providing the desired pH and conductivity values. In this way, it is aimed not to send indigo dyed water to the treatment plant within the scope of "Clean Production" methods and "Zero Discharge", to save water consumption by reusing the separated clean water in different processes, and thus to reduce COD values caused by chemicals in treatment.
