A typical RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) fiber production plant is a facility that specializes in the manufacturing of polyester fibers derived from recycled plastic bottles.
At the recycled polyester fiber plant, also known as Rpet, PET flakes obtained from PET bottle and packaging waste, which are washed and cleaned by chemical methods and shredded by mechanical methods, are converted into fiber by thermal processes. The production of these fibers is targeted to reach 100 tons/day by the end of June 2024 for the fiber used in production in the first stage, 30 tons/day for colored fiber and 50 tons/day for hollow fiber in the first quarter of 2025.
