Recycling of Textile Wastes (Chiffonez Plant)
The Textile Waste Recycling Plant is a major investment in sustainability. At the facility, which has a daily production capacity of 30,000 tons of recycled fiber, those with 100% cotton content are selected from the incoming waste and baled. After baling, they are given to the production lines. The bales cut with a guillotine on the production line are put through an oiling process to soften them. The cut bales rested in box rooms for 8-10 hours are opened in the chiffonez machine and converted into fiber. As a final process, they are baled in automatic balers and made ready for use.
